Services

Before any dog comes to stay with us, for either doggy day care or overnight dog boarding stays, Jo & Seren like to arrange a meeting to make sure everyone gets on and owners can see where their dog will be staying. This helps us to get an understanding of what your dog does on a day to day basis, their likes, dislikes, any little habits they might have, feeding, any regular medication and type of exercise taken etc.

We try to stay as close to their usual routine as possible and this all helps to settle them in quickly, feel more secure, comfortable and at home. Your dog will be living with us in our home, which includes sitting on the sofa (if you allow that!?) and watching TV in the evening if they are staying overnight, a true home from home experience.

Because your dog will be in our home it means that home boarding is only suitable for well socialised, friendly, neutered/spayed, house trained, well behaved, non-aggressive, non-destructive dogs.

Whilst you’re away or out for the day, Jo will send you updates; messages and photos so you can see how your dog is getting on at Finbar’s Friends.

Your dog must be fully vaccinated, including kennel cough (copies of the certificates of vaccination to be provided please) and be up to date with regular preventative flea and worming treatments.

Doggy Day care

If you are going out for the day, or to work, Doggy Day Care can be an ideal solution, by providing your dog with plenty of company and attention, stimulating activity and exercise all in a very safe dog friendly environment.

Whether your dog is young or old, everything is tailored to each dog’s needs. When you collect your dog at the end of the day, you can be assured of taking home a happy and content dog.

Overnight home boarding for dogs

For those occasions when you cannot take your dog away with you, we can provide a true home from home experience, with the same benefits of day care, including relaxing evenings spent with us, on or off the sofa! When it is time for bed we follow whatever their usual routine is, many of our guests get into their beds and have a couple of biscuits! All you need to bring with your dog is their normal food, treats, grooming brushes
